1. Delete In-App Recommended

  1. Open the BartKart app and log in.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm — your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion in 30 days.
  5. Changed your mind? Log back in before the 30 days are up to automatically cancel the deletion.

2. Request Deletion Without the App

If you no longer have access to the app or your device, email akankshabansal94@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days.

3. What Gets Deleted

  • Profile info (name, email, phone, city/state, avatar)
  • Listings and listing photos
  • Chat messages and conversation history
  • Identity verification documents (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving License/Passport, address proof, selfie)
  • Device push notification token

4. What May Be Retained

  • Transaction records (payments, rentals, subscriptions) retained for a limited period for accounting, fraud prevention, tax, or legal compliance, even after deletion
  • Information already shared with or retained by our payment processor (Razorpay) per their own regulatory obligations
